vora arquitectura was founded in 2000 in lisbon by pere buil and jordi fornells, who were joined by toni riba in 2004. we are a practice of young architects who studied architecture at the escola tècnica superior d'arquitectura de barcelona [etsab]. we are located in barcelona and lisbon, while the majority of our work is in catalonia, we also have projects in portugal.

 

Toormix

Toormix is a design studio based in Barcelona specialized in branding, art direction, creativity and graphic design created in year 2000 by Ferran Mitjans and Oriol Armengou. We develop corporate identities, editorial, printed media, websites and overall communication projects for all kind of clients, from small graphic pieces to big global branding and communication projects. Research and strategy are part of our natural working process. We create new codes and seek new visual ways of communicating through clear creative concepts to achieve specific goals.

Joan Vitòria (1973): Architect by ETSAB (Barcelona, 2001). He has worked on his own and also for several studios in Barcelona and Paris. Since 2007 he teaches Project Design at the ESARQ (Barcelona), where he’s also co-organizer of the Foros ESARQ and coordinator of the Culture and Publications Department.

Pere Buil (1973): Architect by ETSAB (Barcelona, 2000). Founder of vora arquitectura, an architectural studio located in Barcelona and Lisbon. Their works have been published in several international magazines. They have been awarded with, among others, Bonaplata and Arco Prize, and selected for Arquia/próxima 2010.

Núria Salvadó (1974), David Tapias (1973). Les seves obres han rebut diversos premis com ara la Bienal Alejandro de la Sota (2005 i 2007), Premis COA Aragón (finalistes), Bienal Alejandro de la Sota 2009 (finalistes) o el segon premi del concurs internacional convocat pel COAC i la revista Quaderns “400.000 habitatges”. També han estat exposades a la Bienal d'Arquitectura de Venècia (2000 i 2008), Foro Arquia/Próxima 2008, “Architecture catalane 2004-2009” (París, 2009) i “Arquitectures sense lloc” (Barcelona, 2009).

Ramon Bosch (Girona, 1974) i Bet Capdeferro (Girona, 1970) són arquitectes titulats per l’ETSAB (Barcelona). Des del 2003 treballen junts com arquitectures.bosch.capdeferro des de Girona.
La seva activitat professional a l’estudi ha estat sempre acompanyada per l’experiència docent a Barcelona, Zuric i Girona. Actualment treballen, entre altres temes, en el desenvolupament de sistemes prefabricats per a la construcció d’escoles públiques.
